Custom QR code specifics

We develop all of our custom QR codes to a strict set of in house guidelines and want to make sure that most consumers are able to scan your custom QR code. We will test all of our custom codes in the current versions of all major scanner applications including those made for the iPhone, Android, and Blackberry. We cannot guarantee that your custom QR code will scan on any non smartphone device, smartphone devices older than 1.5 years, or with any apps other than the following:

iPhone: Daqri, Bakodo, QR Reader, Red Laser, and Qrafter, ATT&T, Quickmark.
Android: Barcode Scanner, Red Laser, I-Nigma, Quickmark, ATT Code Scanner, and Bee Tag.
Blackberry: ATT Code Scanner, and Bee Tag.

We will not test the custom QR codes using smartphones older than 1.5 years or abandoned scanner apps unless otherwise specified.

Ability to scan a custom QR code can also vary greatly based on lighting conditions, background color, and code size. In general you should produce QR codes no smaller then 1×1 inch and do your best to place QR codes in well lit areas on a white background.
